North West 200.

The International North West 200 is Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event, attracting crowds in excess of 150,000 as well as the biggest names in the sport including Michael Rutter, Steve Plater and John McGuinness. Taking place annually in May, the International North West 200 circuit runs between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine – an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to the world famous Giant’s Causeway.

The Ulster Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club (UHPC) is the only hang gliding and paragliding club in Northern Ireland. Its forerunner, the Ulster Hang Gliding Club (UHGC), has been active in hang gliding in Northern Ireland since 1975. Since incorporating foot launched paragliding into our activities in early 1990, we became the UHPC, operating under the auspices of the British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA).

Banagher Cycle Route

A challenging cycle route around the Sperrins foothills passing through towns and villages, farmland and upland, providing an opportunity to explore Banagher Glen, religious sites and see renewable energy generation in action.
This route uses part of the National Cycle Network 7

Castlerock is a fabulous links course set among rolling sand dunes. Its scenic qualities embrace the river Bann flowing out to the Atlantic, and also eye-catching views of Donegal and on a clear day towards Scotland and the Isle of Islay. An ideal retreat in which to play golf.
